Laura Peregoy, MS, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist | Co-Owner, Thera-Peds, LLC | Founder, The Homeschooler's OT

Laura Peregoy, MS, OTR/L, is a pediatric occupational therapist with a heart for helping families navigate the messy, beautiful journey of raising and educating neurodiverse kids. As co-owner of Thera-Peds, LLC, the region’s only fully pediatric therapy clinic, and founder of The Homeschooler’s OT, Laura blends clinical expertise with down-to-earth practicality to support families—especially homeschoolers—in rural and underserved communities.

With over 25 years of experience, Laura has worked across schools, homes, and outpatient settings, supporting children from preemie NICU grads to quirky teens navigating sensory chaos and learning challenges. She's SOS Feeding Trained, a Certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Integrated Listening Systems (iLs) provider, and has completed advanced training as an MNRI Core Specialist.  Translation? She’s equipped to help your child regulate, integrate, and thrive—without selling you on expensive stuff that doesn’t work.

Known for her warm, no-nonsense approach, Laura specializes in treating sensory processing issues, feeding difficulties (picky eaters and problem feeders unite!), visual-motor challenges, and complex neurodevelopmental profiles like ADHD, autism, Down syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos and more. She’s passionate about educating and empowering parents—especially those homeschooling—to feel confident and equipped, even on the hard days.

Outside the clinic, Laura is a sought-after seminar speaker and community educator who believes in practical, effective solutions over pricey fads. She enjoys gardening, baking, reading, and hiking—and cherishes the simple rhythms of country life with her husband and children.

Laura’s approach is grounded, hopeful, and always focused on what truly works for families—and she’s here to help yours thrive.
