Laura is an occupational therapist and co-owner of Thera-Peds, LLC. Laura received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, MO in 1999. Throughout her career, Laura has had the opportunity to provide services to children ranging in ages from 0-18, with a significant amount of time spent providing services for preemie babies released from the NICU and providing parents with the tools needed to carry out home programs.  Laura  provided therapy services in the school, home and outpatient pediatric therapy settings before opening Thera-Peds, LLC in 2015.  

Laura has extensive training in treating children with sensory processing disorder. visual-perceptual and visual motor integration disorders.  Laura also has advanced training for working with children having  feeding disorders--problem feeders & picky eaters.  Laura has treated patients with a variety diagnoses including: developmental delay, apraxia, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, ehlers-danlos, down syndrome, holt-oram syndrome, osteogenesis imperfecta, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, feeding difficulties  and newborns with drug addiction.

Laura is a certified provider for Integrated Listening Systems (iLs) in the clinic, as well as overseeing iLs  home programs.  Laura enjoys providing seminars to parents, teachers, and therapists of all disciplines.
